Dan Eckert

Dan Eckert joined Housatonic in 2024 as an Operating Partner focused on investing in the healthcare products and services sector with an emphasis on diagnostics. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was the CEO of StatLab a leading manufacturer and distributor of anatomic pathology products. Dan and his team completed two significant acquisitions of specialty manufacturing companies while generating significant organic growth resulting in doubling revenues and tripling EBITDA over three and a half years before selling StatLab to Audax Group and Linden Capital Partners. Dan has over 38 years of leadership and governance experience in the healthcare industry. Dan has served as CEO, Director and President & COO of multiple private and publicly traded companies across distribution and logistics, medical devices, diagnostics and technology enabled services. His teams have delivered exceptional value for their customers and completed several successful exits for their investors.

Education

Dan holds an AB degree in English and Political Science from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California.
