Todd Tracey

In February 2010, Housatonic led a group of investors in the acquisition of HemaSource, a bootstrapped provider of medical consumables and associated inventory management software to the plasma and whole blood collection industries. As part of the transaction, Todd Tracey became the Company’s new CEO.

Housatonic supported Todd by actively recruiting an outside board member with relevant experience and helping to develop new KPIs. Housatonic also played a lead role with Todd in the evaluation and due diligence of the follow-on acquisition of Medical Supplies of America which materially enhanced the value of HemaSource.

HemaSource was ultimately acquired by Graham Partners in 2014.

HemaSource is the leading provider of medical consumables to the plasma collection industry. Through its proprietary online ordering and inventory management platform, The Company reduces costs and maximizes efficiency for its customers in plasma collection, whole blood collection and kidney dialysis. HemaSource works with providers across all ambulatory clinical environments, with primary customer partners in plasma protein collections and dialysis service.
